These two days are filled with projects used to decorate the garden, including using clay to make garden labels shaped like vegetables!   Return a week later to paint your clay pieces.  You will also learn about the care of plants while planting seeds in your personalized pots!

“Shaping the farm” 

Today we will learn about basic shapes and how those basic shapes can make up items you find on a farm!  We will then use shapes cut from clay to create pictures.  We will also paint our creations!

Learn all about colors and how they interact!  This camp will explore color using at least 5 different types of medium, including glass fusing!

“bugs on a picnic”  Dish Set

Create a whole dish set using one of our two easy designs; the checkerboard or watermelon pattern.  Then, using our fingertips, we will create bugs crawling all over the dishes!  Weather-permitting, the pieces will be painted outside.  Dish set includes a lunch plate, bowl & cup.

“Discover Batiking!”  (2 Day)

Learn how to turn that old worn-out white t-shirt into a work of art using wax, dye and black ink!  You will have to bring your own piece of cloth, an old

t-shirt, white sheets work well too.

With flowers in our hair, we will take a short visit back to the 60’s!  This event will include tie-dying shirts and decorating dinner plates using a simple flower technique!

The first day we will use slabs of clay to create our mosaic base and paint mosaic pieces.  The on the second day we will bust up those painted pieces arrange them to create a fabulous mosaic!
