So… What is a paint-your-own pottery studio?

A time to discover the artist you never knew you had, a time to bond.

A paint-your-own pottery studio is a fun and peaceful way for anyone to spend an afternoon.  The studio stocks bisque pieces that are ready for customers to paint however they feel.   No clay handling necessary, just come in, quickly wipe your piece with a damp sponge, and paint away!  Don’t think you have an inner artist?  Well, you do!  Everyone does.  You must remember that inspiration can be found everywhere, and to help you out, we provide sponges, stamps, and a friendly, creative staff to offer ideas. Those who come to paint find the process to be very therapeutic, almost like meditation.  Bring along friends or family, and a bonding experience may be created.   After you paint your creation, we will glaze and fire it for you, and it will be ready for pick up in one week.  You and your family will be impressed by the inner artist you never knew you had.

Camps & Kid Programs

Summer Camps-  Summer Camps at Alpaca Art are 4-day events, Monday through Thursday throughout June & July.  Activities include pottery painting, tie-dying, clay building, jewelry making & more. Call for more details or stop in to make your reservations!

After-school Programs- After-school activities will include pottery-painting & techniques, clay work, tie-dying & more.  We are located just north of Salem grade school, so if that's where they attend, have the kids get a group together, & walk right over!  Click here for more details.

Saturday & Sunday: 11-6

WE ALLOW PAINTERS TO STAY 1 HOUR AFTER CLOSING
TO COMPLETE THEIR PROJECTS

SPECIAL EVENTS OR PRIVATE PARTY HOURS MIGHT BE ADJUSTED

Prices
Bisque pieces range from $3.00 - $60.00  Studio Fee - $7.00 flat fee* 

*Tuesdays are kid's Day-1/2 off studio fee!

Studio Fee includes:
Use of brushes, paints, and tools. Plus, glazing and firing of pieces. There is no time limit for use of studio, but if you don’t finish your piece, there is a $2 holding charge to store your piece.
(If you start a 2nd project in one day and have to come back to finish it,
a $3.50 studio fee will be charged for the second return.)
