Potter Wheel Lessons
To learn to throw on a wheel at Alpaca Art, one must call and make an appointment. Even if you have thrown on the wheel before, there are procedures we need to be sure you follow every time you use the wheel at Alpaca Art, including how to cleanup properly. After that first time, you may buy clay and make appointments with the wheel. Appointments are made in 1 1/2 hour increment. Cleanup time is included in this time frame.
Pricing: 1st appointment to learn: $50 -includes 8 lbs of clay, one lesson & glazing of pieces. After first appointment: $10/hour -must call to reserve wheel plus Price of Clay 1-4lbs: $6/lb 5-24lbs: $4/lb 25+lbs: $2/lb

Other Kinds of Art
Throughout the year, usually in summer camps and fall classes, Alpaca Art has classes other than pottery. In the past we have included "Discover Batiking," a "Creating Form & Depth", a drawing class. See our calander for details, if you have at least 3 people together, we could set a date and time, and learn some art!
