So… How does Painting Pottery work?
1. Choose a piece . . . We carry ready-to-paint bisque including dishes & platters (microwave & dishwasher safe), household items such as picture frames & vases, figurines, banks, boxes & more.
2. Decide on a design. . . Our idea center consists of stamps, stencils, idea books, sticker letters & more and Alpaca People are always happy to help with ideas.
3. Paint your piece. . .Use our paints, brushes & supplies to create. When you are finished, leave your piece with Alpaca Art. We'll Clear glaze it & fire it for you!
4. Pick up your finished piece. . . One week later your piece will be ready for pick-up. It is now your work of art to take home and enjoy, or give as a gift!
[top] * No place better to have a gathering than Alpaca Art!
There are so many great ways to paint pottery and build things out of clay! See our monthly calendar for dates to learn new techniques. *Please remember that anytime you come to Alpaca Art the staff will assist the best they can in creating the piece you want. or *Get a few friends together and create a class! With 3 or more people, we can set up a date!

After-school Programs-

Monday:
11-4
SPECIAL EVENTS OR PRIVATE PARTY HOURS MIGHT BE ADJUSTED *We may leave up to one hour early if there are no painters.
*Public Parking available in back!
How much does it cost? We have a flat studio fee of $7 plus the cost of your pottery (ranges $3 -$60). The studio fee covers the paints, glazing & firing. The studio fee is per person, per visit and includes unlimited time and use of all studio materials.
*Tuesdays are kid's Day-1/2 off studio fee!
What if I have to come back another time to finish my piece? A $2 holding fee is due every time you need to leave a piece at the studio. (Alpaca Art is not responsible for any pieces left over 30 days.)
*If you start a 2nd project in one day and have to come back to
finish it,
Other studios have no studio fee. Why do you have one? When studios don't have a fee it is because they add the fee in with the price of each piece. If you buy a plate for $9 at our studio, the price for the same plate at a studio without a studio fee might be $16 ($9 + $7).
*Lots of parking available in back!
